I just wanted to give you a heads up about a scam I recently fell victim to on Bithoex.com. It's a fraudulent trading platform that lures you in with promises of easy cryptocurrency gains just by entering a code. But guess what? It's all smoke and mirrors.
Elon Musk's name is being dragged into this mess, but let me tell you, he's got nothing to do with it. These scammers are using AI to mimic his voice and spread the word about this fake giveaway on TikTok. If you stumble upon videos with "Crypto giveaway Elon" on TikTok, run the other way. They're all promoting similar scam sites.
Here's the kicker - they're running an advance fee scam. They'll ask you to pay a fee upfront before you can even think about withdrawing any crypto. It's a total rip-off, and I wish I had seen through it sooner.
